ACI Europe launches Sustainability Strategy 2.0 expanding focus beyond decarbonisation
ACI Europe introduced Sustainability Strategy 2.0, expanding the sustainability agenda beyond decarbonisation to include biodiversity, resource use, climate adaptation, impact on surroundings and accessibility.
The strategy reports that 328 European airports have public net‑zero plans covering almost 83 % of passenger traffic, and 297 airports are certified in the Airport‑Carbon‑Accreditation program.
