Airbus Helicopters announced a contract to deliver 12 H225M helicopters to Romania, with the Romanian Air Force planning to use them to replace its IAR‑330 Puma fleet. The H225M will be capable of attack, reconnaissance, surveillance, tactical protection and day‑night air assault missions. Delivery will be phased and scheduled by 2030 under the EU Security Action for Europe (SAFE) framework.
