Frank Delgado arrived at Mexico City International Airport three hours early but was denied boarding on an Aeroméxico flight to Havana after a restroom delay.

Arrival and Delay

Delgado reached Mexico City International Airport about three hours before the scheduled departure and was at Gate 77 with roughly 50 minutes remaining before boarding. He was delayed in the restroom and arrived at the gate 14 minutes before departure.

Boarding Refusal

Aeroméxico staff refused to allow Delgado to board even though the aircraft remained connected to the boarding bridge. Delgado said the staff did not listen to his explanations and suggested the airline employ robots.

Complaint Attempts

Delgado tried to use the airline's complaint channels, but an automated system responded that he was wrong, and the phone number for complaints returned error messages.
