The second joint symposium of ICAO, ACI and IATA on accessibility in international civil aviation will be held on 14 and 15 October.

The two‑day event will focus on regulation, infrastructure, digital identity, biometrics and care for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility, and aims to turn political and regulatory commitments into concrete measures for airports, airlines and related travel services. Participants will discuss harmonising national and regional obligations with ICAO standards and consumer protection demands, and will examine airport design criteria such as signage, digital tools, boarding systems and terminal planning from the earliest stages.
