The blaze consumed a three‑storey building that housed 33 small rooms and accommodated between 300 and 500 workers; two workers were reported injured in some accounts while other reports said no injuries occurred. Fire services deployed six to seven fire‑fighting vehicles and brought the fire under control after roughly one hour, with smoke visible up to 2 km away.
