Houthis claim drone and missile attack on Riyadh International Airport
Iran‑backed Houthi forces said they launched drone and missile strikes against Riyadh International Airport on Monday, and multiple strong explosions were heard near the airport that day.
The US embassy in Riyadh issued a security warning to its citizens in the area, while the Saudi‑led coalition reported striking Houthi military targets in Yemen’s Hodeida city on the Red Sea coast, claiming to have destroyed weapons depots and to have foiled a planned attack in the southern Red Sea.
