The strike committee of Airbus, formed by UGT, CGT and ÚTIL, cancelled the indefinite strike after 76.76% of workers voted in favour of the company’s proposal; the strike had begun on 25 August and was paused from 9 September.

A total of 13,560 employees from the Getafe, Albacete, Illescas (Toledo), Sevilla (San Pablo and Tablada) and Cádiz plants participated, with 87% turnout, 20.26% voting against and 2.98% abstaining; the accepted proposal provides payment of the real CPI and a 7.95% purchasing‑power recovery spread over four years until 2029 while keeping the current telework agreement intact.

The next step is ratification of the proposal by the company and unions in a negotiating commission meeting scheduled for the end of this week or the beginning of next week.
