Aer Lingus will disclose updated redundancy plans to its staff this morning, outlining a restructuring that could eliminate up to 500 jobs across the airline.

The proposed cuts include up to 290 head‑office and IT positions at its Dublin Airport headquarters, up to 140 cabin‑crew roles and up to 70 pilot positions, while the airline also plans to scale back overall flight capacity by 6%; affected employees would receive five weeks’ pay per year of service, up to a maximum of 104 weeks of basic pay capped at €180,000.
