Customs and finance officers at Linate airport confiscated 15 luxury watches and 325 collection cards valued at about 95,000 euros from a Chinese passenger, who was later fined over 26,000 euros.

Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli and Guardia di Finanza officers seized 15 luxury watches and 325 collection cards at Linate airport. The goods were estimated to be worth about 95,000 euros, with the watches valued at roughly 68,000 euros and the cards at more than 27,000 euros. The passenger involved was from China.
Fine imposed
The passenger received a fine of more than 26,000 euros for smuggling the items and paid it immediately through the ravvedimento operoso scheme.
