From 5 October 2026 trolleybus No. 30 in Chișinău was renamed “Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie – Aeroportul Internațional” and now runs between the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy and International Airport Chișinău, adding four new stops on Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard toward the airport and new stops on Dacia Boulevard and Chuflia Street on the return leg.

On the same morning, around 05:00, hundreds of passengers gathered in the terminal of International Airport Chișinău, creating long queues at border control.
