American Airlines to equip over 1,000 planes with SpaceX Starlink internet

American Airlines will begin installing SpaceX Starlink satellite internet on more than 1,000 aircraft of its main fleet starting next year, covering over 500 Airbus and more than 530 Boeing planes and delivering speeds of up to 1 Gb/s; the rollout will affect more than 1,030 aircraft in the main fleet, including over 900 narrow‑body jets.
