Arkia announced that its rescue flights from Dubai to Israel were cancelled after authorities revoked the permits allowing Israeli airlines to operate from Dubai.

One stranded group, organized by Eshet Tours, had been scheduled to return from Sri Lanka on October 6 via a flydubai flight to Tel Aviv, but the flight was cancelled amid disruptions following an incident on a flydubai flight to Israel; the tour operator said it has not arranged alternative transport, accommodation or food, and replacement tickets for a family of seven cost thousands of dollars, raising medical concerns for two elderly members who need medication.
