Helicopter crashes into Lake Atitlán after departing Guatemala City
An Airbus Helicopters EC 30 registered TG‑GUH crashed into Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, killing no one as all seven occupants were rescued.
The aircraft had taken off from La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City bound for a hotel north of the lake, and an emergency operation was launched to locate and evacuate the passengers, who were initially five rescued and two missing before being found.
