Alaska Airlines Group announced plans to expand intercontinental service from Seattle to at least 15 cities by 2030, and three of four major integration items – a single loyalty program, a single operating certificate and a single passenger service system – are now completed.

Seattle currently offers nonstop flights to Narita, London, Rome, Reykjavik and Seoul, with Paris and Athens scheduled to start in spring 2027; the share of long‑haul flights in the network is expected to rise from about 8 % to about 15 % by 2030, while premium revenue is projected to grow from 35 % to over 40 % of total revenue. The fleet will grow from over 400 aircraft to 550 by 2035, and Alaska will retrofit all 787‑10s with full‑flat seats while Hawaiian will retrofit all A330s by September 30, 2030.

The merged loyalty program, Atmos Rewards, is projected to generate $4 billion in annual cash flow by 2030.
