LATAM and Embraer announced a firm purchase of 24 E195‑E2 aircraft with options for 50 more, and LATAM Airlines Brasil will receive 12 of the jets by the end of 2026 and another 12 during 2027, with the first aircraft expected to operate between November 2026 and March 2027.

In the first phase, 14 of the E195‑E2s will serve 42 routes, adding eight new connections and four new destinations – Cabo Frio, Macaé, Ji‑Paraná and Rondonópolis – each aircraft configured with 136 seats in a 2‑2 layout and up to 20 Premium Economy seats, offering free Wi‑Fi for LATAM Pass members, USB‑C ports on all seats and access to LATAM Play, while Embraer notes the type uses up to 30% less fuel than first‑generation E‑Jets.
