On September 24 the Space Development Agency confirmed that L3Harris' Tracking Layer Tranche 3 (TRKT3) program satellite network will move forward to connect next‑generation American military systems, especially stealth aircraft, via commercial satellite internet.

The program will build 18 new infrared tracking satellites that will support the F‑35 Lightning II, B‑21 Raider and future F‑47, and will dynamically switch between commercial low‑Earth orbit internet networks and secure military bands to provide high‑bandwidth data transfer while preserving a stealth aircraft’s radio‑silent profile.
