Malaysia Airlines and China Southern expand codeshare to five additional Chinese cities

Malaysia Airlines and China Southern Airlines have extended their codeshare partnership to include five more routes between Kuala Lumpur and the Chinese cities of Shenzhen, Changsha, Xiamen, Chengdu and Zhengzhou, with the new codeshares taking effect on 25 October.

The expanded agreement now covers all routes operated by the two carriers between Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou, Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, Shenzhen, Changsha, Xiamen, Chengdu Tianfu and Zhengzhou, and follows Malaysia Airlines' launch of new services to Chengdu, Shenzhen and Changsha this year and China Southern's increase in capacity on its Kuala Lumpur‑Guangzhou/Shenzhen routes.
