Lockheed Martin signed a commercial direct‑sale contract with the Philippine National Defense Department to provide the Philippine Air Force a full‑flight simulator for the S‑70i Black Hawk helicopter, a virtual maintenance trainer and training materials.

The contract also includes logistical support and spare‑parts supply through 2032, while Philippine pilots will keep training in the United States as the local training infrastructure is built, and the Air Force uses Black Hawks for search and rescue, humanitarian aid, firefighting and troop transport missions.
