Bangkok Metropolitan Administration declared all 50 districts disaster areas after nearly 300 mm of rain fell in about 48 hours, with the declaration taking effect on September 25.

Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang international airports stayed open, but Thailand’s Civil Aviation Authority urged travelers to check flight status with airlines and to allow at least three hours before international departures and two hours before domestic flights.
