Saab and GKN Aerospace expand partnership on Gripen fighter engine work

Saab and GKN Aerospace have signed an agreement to deepen cooperation on engines and propulsion systems for the Gripen E/F fighter aircraft.

Under the deal GKN Aerospace will gradually assume a larger role in engine‑related tasks, providing expertise, capacity and technical support, building on their existing collaboration on the engine of the older Gripen C/D.
