A global Bumble survey shows that 59 percent of women say they are more open to dating younger partners, while 63 percent say age is not a defining factor in romance.

In the United States, women were older than their male partners in 22 percent of cohabiting heterosexual couples in 2023, up from 14.5 percent in 1995, and the share of marriages where the wife is at least three years older has stayed around 10 percent for about two decades.
