Martha’s Vineyard Airport handled 69,533 passengers from January to August 2026, a 3.4 percent dip from the same period last year, while August 2026 saw a peak of 30,627 airline passengers, a 5.4 percent year‑over‑year increase.

During the same year, the Steamship Authority reported a decline of 62,317 passengers compared with 2025, while boat travel rose 0.1 percent and car and truck travel rose 0.6 percent in August 2026.
