Air Cairo reports 210,000 Italy‑Egypt passengers and plans fleet growth in 2026

Air Cairo CEO Sherif Hussein said Italy is a strategic market and the airline has moved 210,000 passengers from Italy to Egypt since 1 January 2026, while planning to increase passenger numbers with competitive pricing in 2026.
The carrier will showcase its offerings at the TTG Travel Experience (hall A7‑C7, stand 212) and aims to expand its fleet from the current 43 aircraft to 46 by the end of the year, adding new routes such as El Alamein and a Hurghada hub that will connect Italian cities to Nairobi, Mombasa and Zanzibar; its Italian network includes Milano Malpensa, Bergamo, Bologna, Roma Fiumicino, Napoli, Bari, Catania and Verona, with onward service to Sharm El Sheikh, Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.
