Icelandair will begin a seasonal nonstop flight between Keflavik and St. Louis on 14 May 2027, operating three to four times weekly through 24 October 2027.

Route schedule

The airline will operate flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 14 May 2027 until 24 October 2027, providing three to four departures per week.

Aircraft and seating

Icelandair will use a Boeing 737 MAX 8 on the St. Louis route, configured with 16 business‑class recliner seats and 144 economy seats.

Southwest connection and network impact

The new service will connect with Icelandair’s interline partnership with Southwest Airlines, whose hub at St. Louis is the busiest carrier at the airport. St. Louis becomes Icelandair’s 16th U.S. gateway and the first new destination on the Atlantic side for 2027.

Icelandair expects to increase its U.S. seat capacity by 15 percent in 2027 compared with 2019 levels.
