On 9 October, Brussels Airport announced that a nationwide demonstration caused some flights to be cancelled, with about half of the flights operated by ground handling company Alyzia running as scheduled while others were cancelled, and no impact expected on flights handled by Aviapartner, which operates for All Nippon Airways (ANA).

A union action is planned for all public services on 12 October, but no impact has been reported yet, and passengers are advised to check public transport websites such as De Lijn, MIVB/STIB and NMBS/SNCB for possible disruptions.
