The Federal Investigation Agency said a fraudulent Instagram post claiming to provide immigration clearance a day before departure for international passengers at Islamabad International Airport was fake, and that the agency does not offer any such pre‑departure service.

The post included a WhatsApp number presented as belonging to an FIA director, but the agency confirmed the number does not belong to any director and warned passengers not to rely on unofficial social media accounts or individuals claiming to provide advance clearance.
