Google maps routes drivers through Airport Praha’s restricted area amid construction

Google navigation currently directs drivers to Airport Praha via Gate 1 and the security zone, which are part of the closed airport area, and also via a private connecting road reserved for public transport, emergency services and vehicles with airport permission.

Drivers are advised to use the surrounding D7 and Lipská routes instead, as the reconstruction of the Aviatická intersection is expected to cause traffic restrictions and longer travel times to the airport during peak hours, and city public transport is not affected by these restrictions.
