Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport has introduced a dedicated book fair inside its bamboo‑structured Arrival Village.

The fair, part of India’s first nature‑themed airport terminal, offers fiction, non‑fiction and regional titles and is intended to promote a vibrant reading culture while giving travellers an immediate taste of Assamese hospitality; airport officials say the space blends traditional bamboo craftsmanship with a contemporary passenger experience, and travellers have praised the calm, literary oasis as a distinct and memorable first impression.
