Lufthansa Group to resume Frankfurt‑Nagoya and add daily Tokyo‑Narita flights in summer

The group will operate up to 50 weekly flights to Japan in the 2027 summer timetable, reinstating the Frankfurt‑Nagoya service and launching a daily Frankfurt‑Tokyo Narita route.

Frankfurt‑Nagoya resumption

Lufthansa will restart its Frankfurt–Nagoya route on a seasonal basis for summer 2027, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. LH736 departs Frankfurt at 14:10 (2:10 p.m.) and arrives in Nagoya the following morning at 09:35, while the return flight LH737 leaves Nagoya at 11:30 and reaches Frankfurt at 18:30 (6:30 p.m.).

Daily Tokyo‑Narita service

A daily Frankfurt–Tokyo Narita flight, LH710, will begin on 28 March 2027, departing Frankfurt at 13:45 (1:45 p.m.) and arriving in Narita at 09:30 the next day. The return flight LH711 leaves Narita at 11:20 and lands in Frankfurt at 18:40.

Aircraft and seat configuration

Both the Nagoya and Narita services will be operated with Boeing 787‑9 aircraft in the Allegris configuration, offering 28 business‑class seats, 28 premium‑economy seats and 231 economy seats, for a total of 287 seats per aircraft.

Swiss expansion to Japan

SWISS will increase its summer 2027 offering to up to seven weekly flights between Zurich and Tokyo Narita.
