Wizz Air will launch a direct service between Prague and Poprad‑Tatry Airport on 25 October.

The route will operate three times a week on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with a fourth slot planned for the Christmas and New Year period, and the flight time is about one hour. Airport director Patrik Františka said negotiations lasted roughly a year and a half, while Tatry Mountain Resorts director Igor Rattaj noted a 30 percent rise in Czech tourists to the region last summer, with the High Tatras and Liptov identified as the most popular destinations.
