Wizz Air lifts September passenger numbers while load factor slips

- Wizz Air carried 7.8 million passengers in September, 24.2% more than the same month last year. Its seat capacity that month rose by 25.3% to nearly 8.5 million seats. The load factor fell by 0.8 percentage points to 92.0%.
- In the 12 months to the end of September, the airline transported 79.3 million passengers, a 19.0% increase. Over that period its capacity grew by 19.3% to 87.2 million seats. The overall load factor was 0.2 percentage points lower than a year earlier, at 91.0%.
