U.S. aviation fuel prices rise in September, National Jet A hits $8.36 per gallon

National Jet A Full Service averaged $8.36 per gallon in September, up 39 cents and 4.9% from August, while the Lower 48 saw an average of $8.31 per gallon, a 5.1% monthly increase.

100LL Full Service rose 2.8% to $7.75 per gallon and 100LL Self Service increased 2.5% to $6.67 per gallon, with self‑service offering about 14% savings versus full service; Eastern U.S. Jet A Full Service climbed 7% to $8.69 per gallon and Great Lakes Jet A reached $7.94 after a 6.4% rise, while Jet A Full Service has risen 32.7% since January.
