RTX signs $139 million Singapore MOU as Pratt & Whitney expands GTF facilities in Asia

RTX signed a memorandum of understanding with Singapore’s Economic Development Board for more than $139 million to expand capacity at its Singapore MRO hub.

Pratt & Whitney plans nine GTF engine facilities in the Asia‑Pacific region, with seven already operating and two slated to start this year, while Eagle Services Asia’s GTF work accounts for about 70% of its volume and early high‑pressure compressor stacking failures were around 30%.
