Abra Group sets group‑wide ESG strategy and reports leadership changes

Abra Group’s ESG strategy is established at the group level and is integrated across all airlines operating in more than 27 countries.

Maria Whittaker joined Abra Group in 2024 as a sustainability advisor to Avianca, became Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer in early 2025, and reports directly to group CEO Adrian Neuhauser; the group transported 71 million people in the region last year, employs 30 000 people and works with over 10 000 suppliers.
