Global Entry speeds up customs and immigration clearance when returning to the United States from abroad and also speeds land border crossings with Mexico and Canada; it is an expanded PreCheck that covers international trips in addition to domestic benefits, but neither program guarantees 100% fast passage and time savings are usually considerable for frequent flyers.
