Christchurch Airport will provide more than 1.27 million international seats between November 2026 and March 2027, a 21 % rise over the previous summer, with long‑haul capacity expanding by 54 % and adding about 130,000 seats, while seats to Tasman Sea and Pacific island destinations will increase by roughly 89,000, representing an 11 % growth for those markets.
