Airbus completed its consolidation project in Cádiz by inaugurating a renovated plant in El Puerto de Santa María, integrating all workers from Puerto Real and El Puerto de Santa María into a single team and relocating production lines for the A320, A330 and A350 programs to the new facility.

The new plant incorporates innovative and technological developments, features a high level of automation, and is described as a multiproduct excellence model that combines commercial aviation and defence, employing 750 people and manufacturing components for the A320, A330, A350 as well as Airbus Defence and Space programmes A400M, MRTT, C295 and Eurofighter.
