Airbus finished consolidating its activities in Cádiz on 8 October 2026, relocating to a renovated plant in El Puerto de Santa María.

The move integrated all Airbus staff from Puerto Real and El Puerto de Santa María into one team, shifted A320, A330 and A350 production lines to the new facility, and expanded the site by 4,000 m² with a high level of automation. The plant now employs 750 people and produces parts for the A320, A330, A350 as well as components for Airbus Defence and Space programmes including the A400M, MRTT, C295 and Eurofighter.
