Around 70 tourism partners attended a Star Alliance gastronomic event where ITA Airways, which joined the Lufthansa Group and became part of the alliance in April, was highlighted; chairwoman Annette Taeuber said ITA passengers already enjoy all alliance benefits.

The showcase featured dishes and drinks representing member airlines, such as a Kyoto Mule for All Nippon Airways, and Star Alliance announced plans to create a connections centre in North America and in several European locations.
