A federal jury in Tampa, Florida found Joby Aviation liable for breaching a confidentiality agreement and misappropriating trade secrets, ordering the company to pay roughly $116.9 million to Aerosonic.

The verdict splits the award into more than $48 million for trade‑secret misappropriation and more than $68 million for violating a nondisclosure agreement, while Joby says it independently developed its air data system.
