Honeywell Aerospace will deliver a total of eight engines to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited by the end of calendar 2026, adding to four already supplied, and will provide another eight engines by mid‑2027, bringing its direct deliveries to sixteen engines.

The accelerated schedule supports the HTT‑40 trainer programme, which calls for 88 engines and engine kits in total, and follows a more than $100‑million agreement signed in 2022 to supply engines and related equipment.

Why it matters

The faster engine deliveries could give HAL additional capacity to ramp up production of the HTT‑40 trainer after an earlier supply disruption.
