Booking.com took down a listing for a non‑existent tourist apartment at 19 Menéndez Pelayo in Madrid after a cyber attack on one of its partners.

The fraudulent listing had an average rating of 7.7 with more than 700 comments, and guests were charged between 90 and 180 euros per day; Booking.com said its own systems were not affected and offered relocations to affected customers, while a European Parliament member plans to ask the European Commission about possible Digital Services Act breaches.
