ACI Europe launches Sustainability Strategy for Airports 2.0

ACI EUROPE launched its Sustainability Strategy for Airports 2.0 on 7 October 2026, announcing it in a press release issued from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, during the Joint ACI EUROPE and ICAO EUR/NAT Environmental Protection Seminar.

The strategy was developed by the ACI EUROPE Sustainability Strategy Working Group together with Egis Sustainability Advisory, updating and substantially broadening the approach first set out in 2019, and structures airport action around seven interconnected areas. ACI EUROPE represents more than 500 airports in 55 countries, covering more than 90% of European commercial air passenger traffic.
