TOTSA, the trading arm of TotalEnergies, will acquire the majority of the 170,000 tonnes per year of sustainable aviation fuel and HVO that YPF's new biorefinery in San Lorenzo, Santa Fe, Argentina is slated to produce, with preference rights over any remaining volumes, under a firm long‑term commitment; the project, which will process vegetable oils, residues and animal fats, is being financed through a project‑finance scheme that provides predictability for lenders and will reach full operation in 2029, with an investment exceeding USD 400 million.
