The Indian government must decide on the C-390 as a medium transport aircraft for the air force and place an order for it. The proposed facility would host final assembly, system integration, manufacturing technology and the creation of a local supply chain, with Indian companies gradually taking part in maintenance, training and support.
- The two companies have been collaborating on the C-390 since 2024 and signed a strategic cooperation agreement in October 2025, laying the groundwork for the joint venture and the potential expansion of domestic aerospace capabilities.
