The co‑pilot, identified as an Omani man, was described as likely an Islamist terrorist. Four Israeli passengers – Dr. Shota Musayev, Assaf Rajwan, Yaniv Hayun and Tzvika Manes – rushed to the cockpit, overpowered the co‑pilot and restrained him.
