Airports and air connectivity contribute US$ 244 billion to gross domestic product across the ASEAN region and support 23.3 million jobs, according to the Airports Council International.

The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines, representing 43 airlines and 85 airports, is a member of the Airports Council International, which has 1,300 airport members worldwide.
