Turkish Airlines hosts IATA World Security and Operations Conference in Istanbul

The IATA World Security and Operations Conference took place in Istanbul from 6 to 8 October 2026, hosted by Turkish Airlines.

The event’s theme was "Human‑Centred Performance" and opened with an address by Turkish Airlines General Manager Ahmet Olmuştur, who also joined a CEO panel on the impact of geopolitical risk on human performance on the first day.

The conference program covered safety, cabin operations, operations and crisis management, with workshops and forums on air‑space efficiency and resilience, data‑driven safety analysis, emergency preparedness and turbulence.
