Israel tightens security checks after foreign crew incidents

Since the New Year, more than 1,200 flight personnel from countries without diplomatic relations, including Syria, Lebanon and Oman, have entered Israel, and an Oman pilot attacked the captain on a Flydubai flight to Tel Aviv.

In response, Israel has tightened security checks for foreign airline crews and imposed new restrictions on some nationalities.
