Lufthansa to resume Frankfurt‑Midland flights in March 2027 with new 787‑9 cabin

Lufthansa announced on 6 October that it will restart the Frankfurt–Midland route, with service beginning on 29 March 2027.

The schedule will include three round‑trips per week, departing Frankfurt on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and returning from Midland on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, using a 787‑9 fitted with the new Allegris cabin that holds 287 seats (28 Business, 28 Premium Economy, 231 Economy). The same Allegris‑configured 787‑9 will also serve the Frankfurt–Narita route, which will operate seven round‑trips per week.
